I did, however, noticed that some adbock effect on some of my web browsers (without adblocking plugins loaded). What I then did was to put the two DNS address from Adguard (.x) and 1.1.1.1 as DNS in my Orbi router, and hoped that I would see some ad bloacked in my home wifi (I have mutliple Roku TVs, Amazon fireTV 4k sticks), but still not seeing much improvement. I care little about the safari adblock coz I do not use safari as my main browser in IOS anyway.
I initially had hoped that by using Adguard and built-in VPN, I could remove the ad in youtube IOS app at least.
